Labels:text | font | ink OCR: If you suspect an obstructed airway, and repositioning the head was unsucessful, lay your hand across the infant's upper chest with your index finger on one side of their hand and your middle finger on the other. Place your other hand under their back and flip them over onto their stomach. With your hand still supporting their chest and head, administer four strong pats to the infant's back. Keep their head down to allow gravity to assist you. After four back slaps, turn them over on to their back and attempt to give the two breaths. If your are still unable to, repeat the above procedure until you are able to successfully get air into their lungs. After you are able to give the breaths, then check for a pulse.
